Kim with her iced coffee and team outfit. She's relaxing so it must be Saturday.
Our booth. We've moved the sign down to the front of the booth instead of the back.
This is how I look to Natty.
The guys of Gold BarBQ chatting it up with Russ (in the top hat) of Eat Crow. Yes, the mailbox on the trailer is a smoker. Really.
Lone Star Smokers. Note the many awards.

Aurora's Moovers & Shakers.
Caught napping? Yeah, it MUST be Saturday.
The new guys on the block at this competition, Sublime Smokers.
Sublime Smokers.
Rolling Hogs brought the whole tent! They had a cute puppy for company, which attracted Natalie in a hurry.
We were kind of early so there were a few gaps in the parking lot. Most of these filled in later in the day.
Eat Crow uses Big Green Eggs, an unusual ceramic smoker that has a cult-like following.
Our Salmon turn-in. What it lacks in perfect appearance, it made up for in taste. Not my best, but pretty damn good. We finished sixth.
Our chicken turn-in. I still gotta get the skin to be crispy, not tough. It finished with a score of 146.8572 and placed a disappointing ninth.
Chicken in better light.
Our ribs turn-in. This scored pretty average, with most judges giving the taste a 6. Our total score was 141.1428, putting us in eighth place.
Pulled Pork. Ugly and yummy. We finished fourth with a score of 152.0000! YAY!
Smoke Show took fourth in Chicken.
Me and the kids with our fourth place ribbon.
C'mon, kids! Pose for the camera!
Now with our fifth place ribbon for Brisket. Nick was not impressed, I guess.
